When we initially planned our session, it was just going to be a lifestyle family session, but Brooklyn eagerly told me right before our session that they were expecting + due in December with their second. We started our now lifestyle maternity session with some bonding with their golden retriever, Bronx (named after a boro of NY just like his mama, Brooklyn). Bronx is just such a sweetheart, and just loved playing with Teale.

The Taylor family is always so well dressed, and no outfit of Teale’s is ever complete without the cutest over the top bows, by Blondes + Bows, she has one in almost every color for every occasion.

After some family shots on the couch, we did some Mommy + Me photos in the cutest sitting room with some mauve velvet furniture from LuLu and Georgia. Once dad joined, you could tell Teale is just such a little Daddy’s girl the way her face lit up.

Next we went up to Teale’s nursery, which would soon be their second child’s nursery come this December, as for the theme that will be a surprise as well of the gender of the baby. Fighting to stay awake before her nap, Teale showed me her favorite book, that was a customized story that featured her name.

Once Teale was officially down for her nap, we snuck in some photos of just Mom + Dad to capture the excitement of Brooklyn being pregnant with their second child.
